Sound advice there though - don't give your money to anyone you're not sure of, or can't find someone dependable and trustworthy who can vouch for someone you don't know.

Definitely DO NOT send money to scamming Africans or respond to non UK phone numbers. Too risky.

Also. Don't mix blues and booze if you don't want to wake up injured with substantial memory blanks!

There are reputable UK based vendors out there, I'm sure. 

Western Union/Moneygram is risky. Definitely bail on the transaction if the 'vendor' wants money sent to Africa, whatever the phone number...
